Devido às diferentes versões, com envolvente ou de embutir, com admissão de ar pela base ou frontal, com instalação vertical ou horizontal, o ventiloconvector pode facilmente adaptar-se a qualquer tipo de edifício residencial ou comercial.

As unidades ventilo-convectoras representam uma forma muito eficiente de utilizar chillers, bombas de calor ou caldeiras num sistema HVAC central. Os espaços podem ser aquecidos e resfriados de forma rápida e silenciosa através da circulação de água quente ou quente pela unidade. A única parte móvel é o ventilador de baixo ruído, que equilibra a temperatura em toda a sala, tornando-o ideal para aplicações residenciais ou comerciais. Aquecem de forma mais econômica do que os radiadores porque recebem água a uma temperatura mais baixa.
